Easy to peel and usually seedless. Sweet and tangy flavor and low acidity. Great for cocktails. Pair with salads, Asian flavors, seafood and goat cheeses.

Pomegranate

Peak Season: Sept - Feb
Brilliant red arils from the pomegranate have a sweet and tangy flavor. They are a beautful and tasty garnish in a salad and are commonly used in Middle Eastern cuisines. Pomegranate juice can be used to marinate lamb or beef, or reduced into syrup and added to cocktails and smoothies.
