Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Fundraising
Breast cancer is a disease that is close to our hearts and nearly everyone has been touched by it whether it be our mothers, sisters, aunts, grandmothers, friends or maybe even you have had to fight the battle yourself. Help us support the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation to create awareness and promote early detection and regular screenings! Thriftway Stores in Washington have been supporting this chairty for over 10 years and our combined total has reached over $1 million dollars with the majority of those funds staying right here in the Puget Sound. This year, with your generous donations West Seattle Thiftway raised $8,455. Thank you!
Dog Days of Summer!
This years recipients of our fundraising will be benefiting The Doney Memorial Pet Clinic, The Seattle Humane Society and Furry Faces Foundation (located right here in West Seattle!!). Over 200lbs of pet food was donated and over $6,000 was raised to support these organizations that are so crucial to animal welfare in the Seattle area. Thank you to all of our customers who helped us with their generous donations!

Supporting education in our area is important to us - by partnering with local area schools and participating in their scrip program we have created another way for the community to raise money for their school with no additional cost!
It's simple, here's how it works:
The school purchases scrip in bulk from us at a discounted rate, and sells to parents or members of the community at face value.
